Minibus Hire Across France

Nice Minibus Hire for the Riviera Villages

From Nice, most of the Riviera lies within an hour. A minibus with a driver lets a family or wedding party see Èze, Saint-Paul-de-Vence and Monaco in one unhurried day, then come home to the Promenade des Anglais for sunset.

Hotels, the seafront and the old town

Tourist coaches need a waiver to use the Promenade des Anglais or the Paillon roads, and they get one only by showing a booking along the way: a hotel, a restaurant, a beach or a museum.

The city has 64 coach stops for set-down and pick-up, most outside hotels, with a 30-minute limit. Afterwards a coach heads to a coach park: the MIN by the airport, Parc Phoenix, or the avenue du XVe Corps site. Vieux-Nice and the Cours Saleya market are for strolling, so plan to arrive on foot.

Who the low-emission zone affects

Since April 2025 the Nice ZFE no longer applies to cars or light vans. It covers goods vehicles over 3.5 tonnes, buses and coaches: those with a Crit'Air 4 or 5 sticker, or no sticker, may not enter the seafront and central area.

Ask how the vehicle you book is classed and which sticker it shows. The zone survived a 2026 attempt to abolish it, and further changes are possible.

Perched villages and Monaco

Saint-Paul-de-Vence is about 30 minutes away. Coaches must use the small coach park on chemin des Trious, ten minutes' walk below the pedestrian village, and setting down on the roadside is not allowed. Èze, about 20 minutes away, has its car park on Place du Général de Gaulle.

Up on the Rocher, Monaco-Ville is closed to any vehicle not registered in Monaco or the Alpes-Maritimes. Coaches are pointed to the Parking des Pêcheurs, and the Prince's Palace asks groups of 20 or more to book.

Your questions, answered

Which day should we avoid for the Chagall and Matisse museums?

Tuesday: both are closed. Adult groups must book at the Chagall museum, and the Matisse museum needs a time slot for groups of 10 or more.

Can we pop over to Italy for lunch?

Sanremo is about 56 km away, roughly an hour on the A8, which is tolled at La Turbie on the way to Monaco and Italy.

Where will we be met at the airport?

Nice Côte d'Azur is about 10 km from Place Masséna. Terminal drop-off lanes are for private cars, so coaches go to the dedicated professional zones and the gares routières; your driver confirms the exact spot.

Is Villefranche-sur-Mer worth a short stop?

It is about 15 minutes from Nice, close enough for a morning coffee by the water before heading on along the coast.
