Getting your team to the match, kit and all
Many squads travel as a party of 12 to 25: players, coaches, a physio and a few parents. That is minibus territory, or a midi-coach when the bench is long and the kit bags are many.
Seats against kit bags
A minibus seats sixteen at most besides the driver, and its luggage room shrinks quickly once every seat is taken. Kit bags, a massage table and drinks crates all need space, so count them as carefully as you count players.
For a squad of about twenty with bags, two minibuses or one midi-coach both work. Two vehicles give flexibility on the way home; one keeps everybody together for the team talk.

Licences and away games abroad
Smaller vehicles, at most 17 seats counting the driver's and 8 m in length, call for a D1 licence; bigger ones need category D. A vehicle booked through us comes with a driver from a licensed partner operator, so your volunteers can rest before kick-off.
Crossing into another EU country for a fixture is an occasional international trip. It needs a licence communautaire and a journey form, and on a single trip of that kind the driver can defer weekly rest by as much as 12 days, handy in a tournament week.
Rules worth knowing before you go
- On a single occasional international coach trip, the driver may postpone the weekly rest for up to 12 days
- The 24 Heures du Mans 2027 runs from 9 to 13 June, with the race on 12-13 June; the organiser recommends the park-and-ride car parks near the motorway exits
Going as spectators in 2027
In 2027 the tennis at Roland-Garros fills the courts of the 16th arrondissement between 17 May and 6 June, an easy club outing from anywhere in the Paris region.
Le Mans hosts its 24 Heures from 9 June to 13 June 2027, the race itself filling the 12th and 13th, and the organiser suggests leaving vehicles at the park-and-ride sites by the motorway exits. Le Mans is about 90 km from Tours, roughly 1 h 10 min by car.
Your questions, answered
Must players belt up on the way?
Yes, whenever the seat has a belt, in a minibus just as on a coach. Make it part of the departure routine.
Can the driver wait during the match and bring us home that night?
Usually, if the whole day fits the limits: 9 hours of driving at most, with a 45-minute stop once 4.5 hours have been driven. For an evening kick-off far from home, an overnight stay or a second driver may be needed.
Some of our players are under 18. Anything to know?
Give their ages in the request. The rules on restraints for minors depend on the type of vehicle, and the operator needs to know exactly who is travelling.
