Big Events, Travelling Together
Four events where going as a group makes the day easier: Lyon's Fête des Lumières in December, then Roland-Garros, the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Paris Air Show in late spring and early summer 2027.
Dates for your diary
December 2026 brings the Fête des Lumières to Lyon, after dark from Saturday 5 to Tuesday 8. In 2027, Roland-Garros fills late May and early June (17 May–6 June). Le Mans hosts its 24 Hours on 9–13 June, with the cars racing through 12–13 June, while Le Bourget's air show follows on 14–20 June, letting the general public in over its closing weekend. Vehicles are in demand across those weeks, so ask early.
Getting close to the action
Each event handles vehicles its own way. In Paris, coaches may halt only while passengers get on or off, with the engine switched off. Le Mans organisers point visitors to park-and-ride sites near the motorway exits, with shuttles running on to the circuit; a coach set-down spot for 2027 is still to be announced. The circuit is about 90 km from Tours.
Your questions, answered
Can you get us tickets?
No, tickets are up to you. We arrange the transport: the vehicle, the driver and the timings.
Can the minibus wait near the venue?
Rarely right beside it. The vehicle sets you down, parks where it is allowed and comes back at the agreed time.
Is Le Bourget far from Paris?
About 16 km by road from the centre and about 13 km from Charles de Gaulle airport, so it is within easy reach of either.
