Toulouse-Blagnac pickups for families, teams and tour groups

Toulouse-Blagnac is only about 11 km from the Capitole, and its single terminal keeps things simple. Group vehicles do work from a professional road with its own rules, though, so it helps to know how your pickup runs.

The Rue des arrivées

Your minibus, coach or car with driver collects you from the Rue des arrivées, a one-way road beside the terminal kept for professionals. Only operators holding an access title under contract with the airport may drive in, every stop is paid, and none may exceed 30 minutes. The road has marked zones for charter coaches, hotel shuttles, taxis and regular lines.

Half an hour goes quickly when a group of 18 is waiting for one last suitcase. Let the driver know as soon as the final bag is off the belt.

One terminal, three halls

The terminal has three levels and Halls B, C and D. The public shuttle bus stops at door C2, arrivals level, and the taxi rank is between doors B3 and C1. Fix a precise meeting door with your driver; it saves a lot of phoning.

Coach operators with an access contract may also use the airport coach station in front of Hall B, which is allocated in time slots and applied for at least two months ahead.

Handy to know at Aéroport Toulouse-Blagnac

  • Coaches and minibuses entering a French low-emission zone (ZFE-m) need a Crit'Air sticker; check the current Toulouse rules before travel.
  • Height limits: Express car parks 2.75 m, P1 and P2 2.10 m, P3 4.00 m, P5 3.10 m; Eco parc P6 takes vehicles of any size.
  • The taxi rank is between door B3 (Hall B) and door C1 (Hall C).
  • Long-distance coaches (for example to Andorra and the Pyrenees) leave from the airport coach station.
  • The airport states that tram T2 is closed from 5 June 2023 until the end of 2026 for the works on metro line C; check the current status before travel.
  • The airport shuttle bus stops on the ground floor at door C2 (arrivals level) and reaches the city centre in under 25 minutes, every 15 minutes, 7 days a week.

Into town

Tram T2 to the airport has been shut for the metro line C works, until the end of 2026 according to the airport; before counting on any rail link, check its current status. The shuttle bus takes under 25 minutes; a minibus takes about 20 to 25 minutes to the Capitole in light traffic.

Place du Capitole is closed to tourist coaches except to serve its hotels, and then only for vehicles 10 m long or less, with the hotel told in advance. Mention your hotel when you book.

Toulouse's low-emission zone inside the rocade bars Crit'Air 4, 5 and unclassified vehicles at all hours. It holds today and could be revised, so confirm the sticker before you travel.

Beyond Toulouse

Albi is about an hour away, Cordes-sur-Ciel a little more and Carcassonne's Cité about 1 h 15. Lourdes and Rocamadour are about two hours each way, a long day for the driver as well as for you, so it is planned within the EU drivers' hours rules, with a 45-minute break after 4.5 hours at the wheel.

Tell us how many bags you have and what is oversized. The operator sizes the vehicle so that people and kit both fit, which sometimes means going up a size.

Can the vehicle wait while we have a coffee?

Not on the Rue des arrivées, where stops are capped at 30 minutes. Car park P6, the Eco parc, has no size limit, so a longer wait can be planned there if needed.

Can a minibus use the express car parks?

Their height limit is 2.75 m, too low for a coach and for some high-roof minibuses, so group vehicles use the professional road instead.
