Minibus Hire Across France

How Your Group Trip Comes Together

A few messages are usually enough to book a minibus with a driver. You decide at every step, and nothing is charged until you accept a quote.

Start with the shape of the day

Give us the headcount, the date and the pickup address. Then list the stops in order, how long you'd like at each and where the day ends. For a meeting at an airport or a station, add the flight or train numbers.

Luggage matters more than people expect. With every seat taken, a minibus has limited room at the back, so suitcases, golf bags, buggies or a wedding dress can change the size of vehicle. Mention anyone who uses a wheelchair or finds steps hard, and the ages of young children: a coach needs no child seats, but in a car, children under 10 travel in an approved child restraint.

Behind the quote

Your request goes to a partner operator with a suitable vehicle free. They work out the hours, the distance and the waiting, plus anything the route adds: motorway tolls, a low-emission zone that calls for the right Crit'Air sticker, a coach park that has to be booked. If the day is too long for one driver under EU drivers' hours, the quote either includes a second driver or suggests a different plan.

Your quote, line by line

Each trip gets one quote. It names the type of vehicle, the timings and route it covers, what is included and the cancellation terms, which depend on the operator and the vehicle.

Your decision

If it suits you, accept it. That is the first moment anything is charged, and we then confirm the booking. If something isn't right, ask for a change first; asking costs nothing.

When plans move

Numbers change, flights slip, someone spots a market they'd like to stop at. Tell us as soon as you know. We check with the operator, and if the price moves, you hear about it before anything more is charged. Cancelling follows the terms on your quote.

The morning of the trip

Be ready at the pickup point at the booked time, with everyone counted. In Paris a coach may only stop long enough to set down or pick up, engine off, so a slow start can cost you the last stop of the day. Airports rarely let a vehicle wait at the door either: at Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly, pre-booked vehicles wait in the airport's professional car parks, and the meeting point is agreed when you book.

Your questions, answered

How soon will I hear back?

It varies with the date, the route and how busy operators are. A complete request needs fewer questions before it can be priced.

Could we see two options side by side?

Of course. Ask for a midicar and for two minibuses, say, and each comes back priced.

Does a quote cost anything?

No. Asking for one is free and commits you to nothing.
