Minibus Hire Across France

Small-group transport for team days and company trips

Not every company event needs a convoy of coaches. A board away day, a sales team in Champagne or a handful of clients at a trade show often fits in one or two minibuses, with a car for the guest who lands late.

Size the day around your people

Start with the headcount and the shape of the day. A standard or Sprinter-style minibus takes a team of up to sixteen; around thirty colleagues fit a midi-coach. A speaker on their own timetable rides in a car with driver alongside.

Two minibuses are often easier than one big coach: each can collect from a different hotel, and a smaller vehicle copes better with a vineyard lane or an old-town street.

Your driver's day has limits

Drivers work under the EU rules on driving time: up to 9 hours behind the wheel in a day, or 10 hours twice a week, and a 45-minute break after no more than 4.5 hours, which may be split into 15 minutes, then 30.

Rest counts too. Between working days a driver needs at least 11 hours off, cut to 9 hours no more than three times between weekly rests. If the gala dinner ends at midnight and the first transfer leaves at 07:30, say so in your request so a second driver can be planned.

Rules worth knowing before you go

  • A coach driver must take a break of at least 45 minutes after no more than 4.5 hours of driving; it may be split into 15 minutes followed by 30 minutes
  • A tachograph records driving, breaks and rest on vehicles carrying more than 9 people including the driver

Paris venues and the 2027 air show

In Paris, a coach may pull in without a permit only to let people on and off, engine off, using one of the 56 kerbside coach places the city provides, and parking requires the Ville de Paris PASS Autocar. Pick a venue door close to one of those places.

The International Paris Air Show comes back to Paris-Le Bourget for 14–20 June 2027, and its weekdays are kept for trade visitors. If your guests are going on those days, book early and fix a meeting point with the driver beforehand.

Your questions, answered

Can one driver cover a two-day roadshow?

Often, yes, if each day stays within the limits. Over a week, driving is capped at 56 hours, and at 90 hours across two weeks in a row, so a longer tour may need a change of driver.

Can a guest be collected apart from the group?

Yes. Add a car with driver to the same request. In France that car is a VTC, so the journey is booked ahead; send the flight or train number.

What should we include in the request?

Dates, headcount, every pickup and drop-off address, the times that cannot move, and luggage. If the day includes a winery or a venue in a historic centre, name it.
