Orly airport minibus pickups, from the terminal to your hotel
Orly is the closer of the two big Paris airports, and with a minibus waiting your group can be at the hotel well within the hour on a quiet day. A few details about how the terminals are laid out make the meeting easy.
Four terminal names, two group car parks
Orly has four terminal names, but for group transport it comes in two parts: Orly 1-2-3, and Orly 4. Each has a professional car park for group coaches. The one for Orly 1-2-3 is on the arrivals forecourt level; the one for Orly 4 is north of car park P4C.
If you book a car with driver instead, it waits in the Parking Pro and your chauffeur greets you at door 10a (Orly 1-2) or 33a (Orly 3). Whichever vehicle you book, the one thing to confirm before you fly is which part of the airport your flight uses.

A short ride into the city
The run to Notre-Dame covers some 19 km and takes around 25 minutes when the roads are clear, though rush hour stretches that a great deal. For a family on a morning flight, it can mean bags dropped at the hotel and most of the day still ahead.
Like every route from the Paris airports into the centre, this one crosses into the Grand Paris low-emission zone inside the A86. Between 08:00 and 20:00, every day, coaches with a Crit'Air 3, 4 or 5 sticker or none at all are kept out. The zone is in force today and its rules could be revised, so the sticker is confirmed before your transfer.

Handy to know at Aéroport Paris-Orly
- The road into central Paris enters the Grand Paris low-emission zone (the area inside the A86 ring road): coaches and minibuses need a Crit'Air sticker; check the current rules before travel.
- Taxi ranks are on level 0: door 14a (Orly 1-2), door 32a (Orly 3) and door 48a (Orly 4).
- Drop-off zones 1, 2, 3 and 4 are signed in orange; the first 10 minutes are free, then charges apply.
- Tram T7 runs from the airport to Villejuif-Louis Aragon; the Orlybus line stopped on 3 March 2025.
- Orlyval links the terminals with RER B at Antony station, for about 35 minutes to central Paris; it is free between Orly 1-2-3 and Orly 4 and runs about 06:00-23:35.
- Metro line 14 serves Aéroport d'Orly station, next to Orly 3: about 25 minutes to Châtelet and about 23 minutes to Gare de Lyon, with a train every 2 to 5 minutes.
When the metro is the better choice
Metro line 14 stops next to Orly 3 and reaches Châtelet in about 25 minutes and Gare de Lyon in about 23. For two people with small bags, it is hard to beat. The Orlybus stopped running in March 2025, so ignore older guides that send you to it.
For a wedding party with garment bags, grandparents with walking sticks or a team with kit, a minibus takes everyone and everything to one door, and nobody drags cases through metro corridors.
Heading south instead
Not every trip begins in Paris. If your first stop is Fontainebleau, Vaux-le-Vicomte or a family house outside the city, say so in your quote request and the driver can take you there directly.
Your questions, answered
Can we be dropped at departures on the way home?
Taxis and cars with driver have a professional lane where setting down is allowed but picking up is not, with the first 10 minutes free. Larger group vehicles work from their own car parks, and your quote says where you will be set down.
Is Orly 4 far from the other terminals?
Orlyval costs nothing for the hop from Orly 1-2-3 to Orly 4, handy if someone lands at the other end. For the pickup itself, choose one part of the airport as the meeting place.
What should we send when we book?
The flight number and terminal, how many passengers, how many bags and how big, and the hotel address. Mention children who need seats and anyone who finds steps difficult.
