Charles de Gaulle minibus pickups for families and small groups

Charles de Gaulle is huge and spread over three terminals, so the first hour of your trip goes best when the vehicle, the driver and the meeting point are settled before you fly. Here is how a pickup works and what to tell us.

Where your driver will be

Group vehicles do not wait at the kerb outside arrivals. Coaches and other tall vehicles use the airport operator's professional car parks, called Parking Pro, at Terminal 1, at Terminal 3 and beside halls 2E and 2F. Cars with driver have their own Parking Pro spaces, including at the other halls of Terminal 2.

Settle the meeting spot with us before you fly, and keep one phone switched on when you land.

Send the terminal shown on your booking

Terminal 2 alone has seven halls, 2A to 2G. A driver at the wrong hall can be a long walk away, so send the flight number with the terminal printed on your booking.

The terminals are renamed and numbered 1 to 7 on 16 March 2027. If you travel after that, simply pass on whatever your boarding pass says; the meeting point is planned from it.

The terminals

  • Terminal 3
  • Terminal 2 (halls 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E, 2F and 2G)
  • Terminal 1

Handy to know at Aéroport Paris-Charles de Gaulle

  • The road into central Paris enters the Grand Paris low-emission zone (the area inside the A86 ring road): coaches and minibuses need a Crit'Air sticker; check the current rules before travel.
  • Taxi ranks are outside baggage claim: Terminal 1 door 24 (arrivals), 2A door 6, 2C door 14, 2D door 7, 2E door 10, 2F door 11, 2G at the blue door and Terminal 3 at the arrivals hall exit.
  • Cars may stop in front of the terminals only in the car parks or the drop-off zones (dépose-minute), which open 03:30-00:30; the first 10 minutes are free, then charges apply, and vehicles left more than 1 h 30 are towed.
  • CDG Express, a direct train to Gare de l'Est in about 20 minutes, is due to start on 28 March 2027.
  • CDGVAL, a free automatic shuttle train, links Terminal 1, Terminal 3 and Roissypôle with the Terminal 2 station about every 4 minutes from 04:00 to 01:00; hall 2G is reached by the free N2 shuttle bus from 2F.
  • The TGV station Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 TGV is inside Terminal 2, with high-speed trains to the rest of France and Eurostar trains.
  • RER B stops at two airport stations: Aéroport CDG 1 (Terminals 1 and 3, by CDGVAL) and Aéroport CDG 2 TGV (Terminal 2); Gare du Nord is about 25 minutes away.
  • The terminals will be renamed on 16 March 2027 and numbered 1 to 7: Terminal 1 stays Terminal 1, Terminal 3 becomes Terminal 2, 2A and 2C become Terminal 3, 2B and 2D become Terminal 4, 2E becomes Terminal 5, 2F becomes Terminal 6 and 2G becomes Terminal 7; car parks and gate numbers change too.

Why the flight number matters

Time in the Parking Pro is limited. A visit includes up to 2 hours, extra charges apply after that, and a vehicle that stays beyond 3 hours is suspended from the car parks for 30 days. So drivers follow your landing time rather than turning up hours early.

The drive into Paris

Notre-Dame is about 28 km by road: 35 to 40 minutes when traffic is light, much longer at rush hour. After a long-haul night with children or grandparents, an early-morning landing usually means a quicker run than a late-afternoon one.

The airport sits outside the Grand Paris low-emission zone, but the road into the city enters it at the A86. Coaches rated Crit'Air 3, 4 or 5, or with no sticker, may not drive inside from 08:00 to 20:00. These rules are current and Parliament may still change them, so the vehicle's sticker is checked against the rule of the day.

Not starting in Paris?

Some groups head straight for Disneyland Paris or the Champagne country. Give us the first night's address and the route skips the city. Anyone carrying on by high-speed train will find the TGV station inside Terminal 2.

Your questions, answered

What size of vehicle do we need?

Up to eight passengers usually fit a single car with driver; minibuses cover groups of roughly 9 to 24, and beyond that a coach makes sense. Count the suitcases too, since pushchairs and golf bags can push you up a size.

Would the train be easier?

RER B reaches Gare du Nord in about 25 minutes, and the CDG Express is due to open in 2027. Travelling light, that works well. With luggage, small children or a big party, a minibus to your hotel is usually calmer.

What if our flight is late?

Send the flight number rather than just a time. The operator follows the arrival and adjusts the pickup, and your quote states how waiting time is handled.
