Paris-Beauvais minibus pickups for the long road into Paris
Paris-Beauvais is not in Paris. It lies near Beauvais in the Oise, and the road to the centre of the capital is about 82 km. With a group, the transfer is part of your day, so plan it like one.
One place to meet
There is exactly one place where a minibus or coach may load and unload your group: the Parking Bus Transport Privé, near the terminals between P2 and P4. Its six bays take vehicles of up to 15 m, and it is open daily, 25 December apart, from 06:00 until 23:00. Collecting passengers anywhere else is not allowed.
A car with driver uses the big drop-off zone by car park P1 instead, roughly 140 spaces and a two-minute walk from both terminals. For a family of five, that can be the simplest option of all.

Why timing is tight
On the way in the driver collects a barrier ticket; once it is paid, at the machines outside Terminal 2, the vehicle must be gone within 20 minutes. Parking elsewhere on the airport is forbidden, and the neighbouring commune of Tillé tows vehicles as well. The smoothest pickups are those where the whole group is gathered, bags in hand, by the time the driver goes to pay.
The terminals
- Terminal 2
- Terminal 1
Handy to know at Aéroport Paris-Beauvais
- Illegal parking is enforced on the airport, and the neighbouring commune of Tillé also tows vehicles.
- In the drop-off zone the first 15 minutes are free; frequent users pay surcharges and professional subscriptions exist.
- TER trains run from Paris Gare du Nord to Beauvais station in about 1 h 15, then city bus 6 or a taxi to the airport.
- The Aérobus A01 shuttle runs to Paris Porte Maillot in about 1 h 15, every 15 to 30 minutes, and waits for the last flights; Porte Maillot is about 82 km by road.
- Despite its name, the airport is near Beauvais in the Oise département, north of Paris; allow for the long road transfer.
Allow about 1 h 20 to Paris
Count on about 1 h 20 to Notre-Dame in light traffic, more at peak times. Visit the toilets before leaving the terminal, keep water and snacks handy for the children, and avoid booking a dinner table in Paris for the hour you land.
On the way in, the vehicle crosses the A86 into the Grand Paris low-emission zone, where coaches without a qualifying Crit'Air sticker are barred from 08:00 to 20:00. That rule stands at present but may be amended, so the sticker is checked before the day.
Shuttle, train or minibus?
The Aérobus A01 reaches Porte Maillot in about 1 h 15. TER trains link Beauvais station with Gare du Nord, but you need city bus 6 or a taxi to reach the station first. For six or more people with luggage, a minibus to your own address saves those changes and the onward taxis at the Paris end.
If Paris is not your destination at all, tell us: there is no reason to drive into the city before heading on to Normandy or Champagne.
Your questions, answered
Is Beauvais really a Paris airport?
Only by name. It is in the Oise, north of Paris, and the airport itself gives 77 km from Porte de la Chapelle. Plan your arrival day with that distance in mind.
Can the minibus wait right outside the terminal?
No. Group vehicles may only stop in the private coach park, and the short-stay drop-off zone is for cars. The bays are close to the terminals, so it is a short walk with your luggage.
Our flight lands late in the evening. Is that a problem?
The coach park is open from 06:00 to 23:00. Put your scheduled arrival in your quote request, and the pickup will be planned around those hours.
